According to the Associated Press, DMX is currently behind bars in Miami. The 37-year-old rapper was picked up around 1:30 PM on Monday (June 23) due to an arrest warrant for having no valid driver’s license. X was taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Institute, where bail was set at $500. He remained behind bars until 5:30 PM.
Over the past several years, DMX has gotten in trouble with the law for a slew of driving-related incidents. Most recently, however, the rapper pleaded not guilty to felony drug possession and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges in Arizona, as a result of a raid on his house.
