OG Ron C Assaulted at TOC Bar In Houston

The President of the GO DJS was the victim of excessive force used by security at Toc Bar night club in Houston on Thursday night.
OG Ron C, real name Ronald Cole, recently suffered multiple injuries including a burn mark across his Adam’s apple, where he was reportedly shot with a taser gun. Veteran music industry publicist Nancy Byron issued an official statement regarding the incident.
“Ronald Cole, known throughout the entertainment industry as OG Ron C, President of the GO DJ Coalition and respected business man, was roughed up, tasered unconscious, and dumped on the floor of Houston nightclub Toc Bar” said Nancy. The alleged assault came after what was said to be a verbal and non-confrontational conversation over the treatment of one of the popular dj’s friends.
Ron gave no resistance after being placed in a chokehold from behind, where he was eventually rendered unconscious from a taser gun.
“I turn to go see what’s going on and from behind, security grabs me in a choke hold where they held me until I passed out… I wake up shaking, on the ground, inside the club, people are trying to help me up and saying ‘Dogg u got tazed.’ Ron C stated regarding the incident. “Onlookers, including my friends begin to tell me that 3 security dudes had set upon me. One dude choking me, one dude holding my ankles and another dude came and tased me. The part that really makes me mad is not the fact that they tased me, but they tased me in the throat, making me feel like they were trying to kill me. I was in genuine fear for my life.” Ron also wanted to make note that he was not under the influence during the altercation, as he does not drink alcohol.
A police report has been filed against the club security guards and Ron C vows to pursue this incident further.
According to Nancy, there has been a recent wave of problems involving club security throughout the city.
“I have personally witnessed the unnecessary tasing of people who were offering up little or no resistance, in clubs where people had to go through metal detectors, as well as get personally patted down to enter – meaning they were clearly unarmed” stated Nancy about recent events. “Someone is going to get seriously hurt, or killed, if this is not addressed. Some of these guys are not even licensed to carry weapons and the club owners should be held accountable.”

First off I want to wish Mr. Cole a speedy recovery and I hope the cowards who were suppose to be preventing trouble, instead of causing it, get theirs whether it be legal or not.
I’m Responding to the article that you had written in Ozone Magazine about “OG” Ron C. You really should get your facts straight and in line before publishing about a play by play as told from you from an unreliable source… there’s always 3 sides to every story. His side, Their side, and the Truth and truth be told Ron C was not held down, or, tasered as he says. I think he is just taking it too far with that one cuz the man was put on his ass and then let go by security when he calmed down and walked out the door. Yes there was an incident between patrons and club security, but you are only getting one side of the story. I’m actully suprised that you took the time to listen and write about one man’s account of the incident that happened without questioning other sources. I’m not on anyone’s side about this. I’m just saying that you should get the truth before writing fiction. I was at the party last night, and yes I did see what occured. I will tell you that your article made me laugh. For what you wrote was not what had happened. “OG” Ron C, had been drinking. I know this because he bought me and my friends a few shots and took them with us. His crew that he was with were acting stupid and rude the whole night. With an attitude that they were big tyme stars. I did see that when the club was closing, We (patrons) were asked to leave and they started getting even worse. The staff and promoters did try to peacefully resolve the situation by asking them to leave, but when the member of his crew in question tried to run into the area with Megan Good to go “holla at her”. The Security got him out. Next thing his people were fighting against the security. I know this because i was in front row view to see everything that occured. “OG” wasn’t an angel either for he was the second person to throw a punch at the staff. Yes, he was forced to the ground, but that would happen to anyone that tries to hit a bouncer. Any person going to a Night Club knows that! Anyway, he was picked up by his friends and escorted out. And as any “OG” should do when getting put on his ass for fucking up, he flagged down a police car and started crying to them about what happened to him, and not what he did to provoke the situation. That was funny to alot of us because we thought that Orignal Gangsta’s don’t do such things. His whole account is all amusingly false. Truthtold56, you are a liar. Straight up. I was there and OG didn’t buy you or your boys a damn thing. He doesn’t even drink you stupid little person. And then you took the time to write such a long spill of lies and then gave your opinion based on the lies you told. Wow! I saw the whole thing, for real. I was there in a professional manor and am actually a witness. Were you even really at the club, better yet, do you even live in Houston? with your lying ass. OG was a victim and innocent one at that. He was attacked and assaulted by those men. With my own two eyes, I saw him chocked until he passed out and tazed. He never posed a threat and was not intoxicated. He was not even one of the people that the security was trying to put out of the club. Security should go get their 40 hours of college, or for some of those at the Toc Bar, their GED first, and go be cops so you can accost real criminals instead of attacking innocent people for kicks.
