On June 9th the former Dipset member Max B was found guilty of murder conspiracy and robbery charges and now faces up to 25 years in prison. This comes as a shock for some and is a devastating blow to the Hip-Hop community, as one of the more talented up and coming artists from New York City faces the American Justice system with his freedom and future on the line.

 
KeepItTrill.com: Today I bring to you former Dipset member Max B. I would like to welcome you to KeepItTrill.com and to our viewers also, I would like to say thank you for taking time out of your schedule for this exclusive interview with KeepItTrill.com. Let’s start this interview off by introducing yourself to the people that don’t already know who you are.
 
Max B:  I go by many aliases Max B a.k.a. Bigavel a.k.a. The Silver Surfer a.k.a. (King of the Coke Wave) OWWW!!!
 
 
KeepItTrill.com: Before we really get into this interview, I want to address the latest controversy you are currently facing. This past week the whole hip-hop world learned that you are facing up to 25 years for alleged murder. Can you give us some insight into the situation how things ended up this way? What really went down?
 
 
Max B: Due to pending litigation, all I can say is THANK YOU for all the love and support from my fans, family, and management The Harlem Matriarch, with whom know that I am innocent.
 
 

KeepItTrill.com: So you are innocent?
 
Max B: In one word YES.
 
 
KeepItTrill.com: Tell us, who exactly is Gina Conway and what was going through your mind as you saw her taking the stand to testify against you?
 
Max B:  She’s a former girl friend. People do what ever they feel they need to, to help themselves. But, I hope the jury clearly heard her when she said “He had no knowledge of the robbery”.
 
 
KeepItTrill.com: Even with the evidence and testimonies presented against you, do you feel that you will be able to get your sentence overturned?
 
 
Max B: Next question, Obviously you didn’t know that there was no evidence or adverse testimony against me.
 
 
KeepitTrill.com: Alright, now that you have given the fans an inside look at the situation, let’s take time to focus on the music…What projects have you been working on lately and how do you feel your current legal situation is going to affect that?
 
Max B: Look for that Vigilante Season Coming Soon on Amalgam Digital, Max B Presents: OFO, Harlem Matriarch Music Presents: H.O.T. (Harlem On Top) Pt. 3, Million Dolla Baby the Album, Public Domain and the Gang Green album, Mac Mustard and Al Pac just to list off the top of my head.
 
My peoples Love my waviness, they’re gonna ride the surf even bigger than before. I’m like a tsunami; this is just the calm before the storm. I’ve been wiping these cats out since I got in this game….
 
 
KeepItTrill.com: Tell us about your affiliation with Dipset
 
Max B: There is no affiliation. Shit, nothings changed. Next…..
 
 
KeepitTrill.com: On this website we keep it trill…..Have you and Jim Jones reconciled since your current dilemma? Will you ever put your differences aside and possibly do music together again?
 
Max B: My only focus is my appeal. I’ve made him as famous as I care to at the moment… (laughing) You tell me about any reconciliations, ‘as you will have it’, after the release of the Harlem Matriarch Music Presents: H.O.T. (Harlem On Top) Pt. 3 DVD. OWWWW
 
 
KeepItTrill.com: With New York being the state that created hip-hop then having a steady decline for a period of time, it seems as if the Hip Hop scene is become revitalized with young artists like yourself. Who does Max B look to for inspiration as an artist?
 
Max B: Shit I am my own inspiration….. Along with a lot of “others” who don’t, never did and will never have their own. But, keep a look out for GMB (Get Million Boys), they’re wavy. I have a new up and coming release with them.
 
 
KeepitTrill.com: How do you feel about the new breed of MC’s coming out New York? Do you think they’re putting New York back on the map?
 
Max B: You know I’m glad New York is coming back. At the end of the day of a fan of real music, good music, with that said… Gang Green, Harlem Matriarch Music and Da Coke Wave, Million Dolla Baby the album; that’s all you need (laughing)
