Ja Rule Still Cool With Gotti, Plans Yet Another Attempt At Career CPR

Ja Rule has survived a heated beef with 50, declining record sales, and the death of his own personal dynasty Murder Inc.
But through it all he has survived in an industry that is known to eat artist alive on the regular. With a new album on the way; Ja discussed what he has in store for fans his fans, as well as his relationship with Irv Gotti.
Durring an with MTV; Ja talked about his upcoming album saying; “I’m working, I’m not in a rush, I’m in the studio working every day. I’m about to go in the studio and work right now and finish up on the album. The album’s coming out incredible. It’s very different. I wanted to make it special. I wanted the album to be out of this world, and it’s definitely shaping up to that. I’m not in a rush. I got a new situation”.
This album unlike other Ja projects will be under his own label; Empire Music Group, stating excitedly that he will have control of his music as well as new artist. Despite this change in labels, he reafirmed that his relationship with Gotti was still as strong as its ever been; I got a new situation — my Empire Music Group. Gotti’s got Murder Inc. We’re both still together — there’s no separation. We’re both together doing what we do, but I got my own situation and I got new artists. We’re putting it together”.
Along with the relationship with Gotti, Ja see’s the status of New York Hip Hop as something that is slowly improving, but wants more Unity amongst the entire Genre; “We fighting against other genres, We fightin’ against motherf*ckin’ rock. We fightin’ against pop. We fightin’ against these other genres of music. We need to be together as a whole and not separating ourselves between West and East and South”.
No information has been given about the official release date of Ja’s next album or any other artist under his new label.
