Dallas hip hop artist Dorrough released his debut album, “Dorrough Music,” today, August 4th, 2009.

His current smash single “Ice Cream Paint Job” is putting up impressive numbers everywhere as it catapults into the Top 10 at urban radio this week (close to 5,000 spins) and is currently Top 20 at Rhythmic. The song has over 34 million in audience and continues to grow. The video for “Ice Cream Paint Job” is currently the #1 most played video on MTV2, #2 on B.E.T. and Top 10 V.O.D. at Music Choice.

On “Ice Cream Paint Job” Dorrough describes his tricked out ride over a warbly keyboard and mid-tempo drums. The track broke out of San Francisco and Dallas and has exploded nationwide.

Combined with his first single “Walk That Walk,” the 2 songs have moved over 385,000 digital transactions to date. Additionally, the “Ice Cream Paint Job” Ringtone is currently Top 15 on Ringscan and now #1 on Billboard’s new Heatseeker’s Song chart.
