It’s a fact that K Kutta is here and here to stay.

KeepItTrill.com: Let’s start this interview off by introducing yourself to the people that don’t already know who you are.

K Kutta: Hello people, hello world, hello viewers, hello fans, hello everybody you feel me CD listeners, YouTube listeners, internet listeners, CD listeners whatever made be your preference. This your boy K Kutta you feel me “Mr. Black Rag Dickie” himself, “Mr. After Hour”, “Mr. Streets” you feel me, “Mr. Uhh” you already know! Yea I from Dade County you feel me. 305 you know what I’m saying. So you know I’m like the new face of this you feel me. So you know what I’m sayin’. I guess when we get into the other questions they gonna ask me ya will get to know me a little more better.

KeepItTrill.com: How did you come up with your name K Kutta?

K Kutta: Well, to be quite honest you feel me cause I really don’t know how to lie uh… I do like AK 47’s you know that’s my favorite you know but beyond that you feel me everybody knows what an AK 47’s do, everybody done seen what it do when it hit you or whatever basically that what my lyrics do you feel me. They want to know like damn where you get the name from? Yea that’s where I get it from. You know what I’m sayin’ AK 47 its a K you know what I’m sayin’ Kutta is another form of a K Kutta all that the same thing. We call it K over here some call it Kutta over there but you know what I’m sayin’ its the same formal AK 47 which means you know what I’m sayin’ I be spittin’ you feel me I can give it to you rapid or you can put the semi or you can just put it regular you feel me that’s really my style is you know what I’m sayin’ I can give it to you any kind of way fast, slow, however you know what I’m sayin’.

KeepItTrill.com: Can you share with the world what made you decide to become an artist?

K Kutta: Well, I’m a people person you know what I’m sayin’ I like to give back to the community I like to give I like to see everybody smile and happy so you know what I’m sayin’. That’s that was I doing just in the streets anyways you feel me far as you know what I’m sayin’ doing things for the kids and neighborhoods or just looking out for people when I’m out you know what I’m sayin’ being a helping hand so I felt like you know what I’m sayin’ this is another way another avenue that I could touch another up and coming youth you feel me of showing them aye a men we came up from the same spot you know what I’m sayin’ same hood, same block, same avenue, same streets, streets name whatever it made be. You know what I’m sayin’ no matter where you at dreams come true and they can happen cause I just came from where you can from so you know what I’m sayin’ just another avenue where I can teach some people of what you know what I’m sayin’ another avenue that everything don’t have to always be negative it might start that way but it can come out something positive.

KeepItTrill.com: Can you tell the people as you were growing up who did you listen to? Who influenced you as an artist?

K Kutta: Well, you know of course Dade County you know what I’m sayin’ Miami music period you know what I’m sayin’ but when it branch off you know what I’m sayin’ my people when I was coming up looking up towards they listen to a lot of hardcore gangsta music back then you feel me but you know Miami had their little movement you know what I’m sayin with Luke and you know what I’m sayin’ Poison Clan, you know what I’m sayin’ Trick, you know what I’m sayin’ it’s a lot of names I can say you feel me that’s good 70’s feel, that’s 80’s feel, and that good 90’s feels you feel me. So basically to sum all that up basically I got some of that music that was playing from 70’s, 80’s, and the 90’s. And that really what I grew up under like grew up to that’s what I was listening to and that was around then because that was playing and was brought up upon.

KeepItTrill.com: What do you feel you’re bringing to the table and what separates you from the next new artist coming out?

K Kutta: That I’m real which you know I know you heard like a thousand, millions and one times you know from people but that is I you feel me but ahh on the other hand, you know what I’m sayin’ Ima help people you know what I’m sayin’ and take the timeout if I got the time to help them you know what I’m sayin’ show them the way you know what I’m sayin’ to do what I done did to you know what I’m sayin’ to get to the way I’m at and how I got where I was you feel me. So you know a lot of people don’t take time out and help other people you know what I’m sayin’. A lot of people tell a lot people things and they don’t come through with it you know what I’m sayin’ which they in position to help other people and they don’t do it you know what I’m sayin’. So it be a lot of stuff that in the game that people do that they shouldn’t do which they act like they real so which is they fake but umm.. The kids you know what I’m sayin’ just really showing them cause that’s really you have to do it for the up and coming. You know what I’m sayin’ cause the kids see what you doing and they really feeding off you so at the end of the day you know what I’m sayin’ show them that I came from the streets then did all that and show them a men there more to live. I want to show you that you can put me anywhere you feel what I’m sayin’ I ain’t the type of artist that ohh… you gonna label me as a gangsta rapper or as a this you know what I’m sayin’ I want to be versatile you can put me in any category any situation and I can make it happen you feel what I’m sayin’. So at the end of the day you got a dude that’s really from the streets and you got a dude that intelligent so you know what I’m saying and you know that.

KeepItTrill.com: You have worked with artist like Akon, Desloc Piccalo, Ball Greezy, Tarvoria and Bizzle just to name a few. How did all that come about?

K Kutta: I say all came about ahh… you know what I’m sayin’ just grinding you know what I’m sayin’ and promoting and putting myself out there you know what I’m sayin’ and real will always recognize real and you know what I’m sayin’ that’s how some collabo’s go. You know what I’m sayin’ some people just want to work with you cause they see you doing your thing and you trying some people just want to cause they see you will be hot or whatever the case maybe you know what I’m sayin’. But in this situation I’m sayin’ I know some of them I just wasn’t rapping or whatever but you know what I’m sayin’ we all in the same game and you know what I’m sayin’ just one hand wash the other you know what I’m sayin’ just on some real G sh** you feel me.

KeepItTrill.com: I have been listening to your music a lot lately and your production sounds to be better after each song. So who does your production on the songs that you are on?

K Kutta: Well, I there only one producer you feel me that’s who you know what I’m sayin’ that’s my bra you feel me I don’t go nowhere else, nobody do nothing for me you know what I’m sayin’ so any beat you hear its Phat Boy Beats you know what I’m sayin’ Da Crib Studios you feel me so you know don’t go wondering dam he got a beat from over here he got a beat from no no no I don’t got nothing against nobody you know what I’m sayin’ but we trying to do our thing as what we do you feel me.

KeepItTrill.com: As an artist do you utilize YouTube, MySpace and Twitter to promote your music?

K Kutta: Yea I utilize everything every which of way I could to do the do any kind of promotions Ima do it and it just that you feel me. That just something that’s hot right now but it’s a whole lot more stuff going on that internet you could do that you know what I’m sayin I touch basic with other than that you know what I’m sayin’. You already know I use KeepItTrill.com you feel me yes I use that and utilize that.

KeepItTrill.com: You know that Miami has had the spotlight for the past few years. There is a Miami Movement going on… how do you feel about the movement? Do you think the movement hasn’t spread out to new artist on their rise?

K Kutta: Its a Miami movement going on you feel me so you know at the end of the day one thing bout anything you feel me you can’t hide but so long you feel me you can’t hide a person. A person who’s grind and you know what I’m sayin’ motivated and do something can’t stop them rather they in your movement or out you movement you feel me. So at the end of the day Miami got their movement going on so whenever it time for an artist to do their thing and they grinding and put forth of effort to really make their destiny you know what I’m sayin’ to meet their goals it would happen so you know I’m sayin’ Miami movement is what it is you feel me so shouts out to everybody in Miami you feel me ya already know what it is.
