Today we bring to you one of Miami’s hottest up and coming artist Young Fi.

Let’s start this interview off by introducing yourself to the people that don’t already know who you are.
Young Fi: I’m Young Fi the Next to Blow if you don’t know about me Google Me!
KeepItTrill.com: I have been following you for a little minute since your first mixtape “Get Money Music”. Can you tell the world how did you come up with your name Young Fi?
Young Fi: It was short for the name Finnie. Finnie was my street name.
KeepItTrill.com: Can you share with the world what made you decide to become an artist?
Young Fi: This man at my job named Ray Coleman thought I was fly and just took me to studio one day. I like the way it sounds & and just kept it going and the fans came with me.
KeepItTrill.com: Can you tell the people as you were growing up who did you listen to? Who influenced you as an artist?
Young Fi: Tupac of course, Jadakiss, Juvenile and that’s pretty much it. I didn’t care too much for too many other rappers.
KeepItTrill.com: With every new artist, they always say what separates from the next, but keep it 1,000 “TRILL” with us. What really separates Young Fi from the next new artist coming out?
Young Fi: I’m just me, it ain’t another Fi! No matter how much they try to duplicate. I’m a trendsetter I can bring Tommy Hilfiger back if I want to.
KeepItTrill.com: I have heard that you and Y.F.N. former member Fresh have dissed each other on songs. Can you share with the world what happen between both of you?
Young Fi: Never heard of him
KeepItTrill.com: [Laughs]. I’m glad you cleared that up for us! As an artist, do you utilize YouTube, MySpace and Twitter to promote your music?
Young Fi: I run it. Put my name on any of those sites
KeepItTrill.com: You know that Miami has the spotlight for the past few years. How do you feel about the movement? Do you think the movement hasn’t spread out to new artist on their rise?
Young Fi: I feel like it didn’t help me out any bit. I ain’t down with Miami Rappers. None of them gave me a hand. The people love me. John Doe Music Group is the new movement.
KeepItTrill.com: So what projects have you been working on? Can you clarify your current label situation for the folks at KeepItTrill.com?
Young Fi: I’m independent w/ John Doe Music Group got a few label deals on the table just weighing my options will announce major label soon. Consistent Music mixtape dropping soon and working on a movie called “Hard Lessons”
KeepItTrill.com: Lets shift gears a bit to the great music that you’ve been creating lately. Your latest single “Danger” is creating a major buzz on underground and internet stations. I’m really feeling that single. How did that song came about?
Young Fi: It landed in my inbox & I murdered that shit!
KeepItTrill.com: Your buzz in the streets of Miami is escalating day by day. You’re one of the hottest artists coming out of Miami. Can you tell your fans and your new fans out there what labels has been contacting you concerning about joining their roster?
Young Fi: No comment just stay tuned.
KeepItTrill.com: What can you tell the world about Y.F.N. what does it stands for?
Young Fi: Y.F.N. stands for Young Fly Niggas – You gotta have your money up to be in YFN. “YFN we run the streets & get the ho’s nice cars, big jewelry, live life & sell out shows” like I say in the Partna Dem Remix check it out my MySpace or YouTube.
