Donovan McNabb And Terrell Owens Teaming Up Once Again For A TV Show
It’s been nearly five years since quarterback Donovan McNabb and star receiver Terrell Owens wowed fans as the Philadelphia Eagles’ dynamic duo. The pair are soon to reunite … but on the basketball court?
According to an ESPN report, McNabb and Owens will be teaming up once again for the new season of Spike TV’s “Pros vs. Joes” in an episode where NFL players that played college basketball square off against former NBA stars.
McNabb and Owens will partner with Antonio Gates (Kent State) to take on retired NBA stars, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kenny Smith and Rick Fox.
When the duo played together with the Eagles, the team reached the Super Bowl in 2004. However, a feud ended their relationship and Owens was cut midway through the ’05 season.
So, with the upcoming TV appearance, we’ll be seeing McNabb throwing passes to Owens once again…
The new season premieres April 27 on Spike TV, and air thereafter on Mondays at 11 p.m.
At press time, it was unknown when the episode featuring McNabb and Owens would air.
