Lil Boosie recently spoke from a Louisiana prison to address the current murder charges being held against him.

Although Boosie is currently serving a four-year prison sentence from a 2008 arrest for possession of marijuana and a firearm, he is presently facing charges on first degree murder. Lil Boosie claims that the charges against him are false and that it is a part of an ongoing conspiracy to fight hip-hop.

“I’m innocent; I’m completely innocent…My situation is one that is unjust, unfair and based on an attack against hip-hop and rap as a whole” said Boosie. Despite the charges he is currently facing, Trill Entertainment will release a new compilation album from Boosie, which will include all new tracks that were recorded just days prior to the rappers sentencing. As previously reported, the project will be titled Incarcerated and will hit stores on September 28th.

“Even through these circumstances my family, labels and fans have stood by me and I thank you for that. My album Incarcerated comes at a real changing point in my life,” Lil Boosie said.

The sales from the album will go to the legal defense for Boosie and the other men who were indicted alongside the rapper.

In related news, the long awaited Ghetto Stories: The Movie will soon see a release date. The film will star Trill Entertainment rappers Lil Boosie & Webbie, along with actor Tyrin Turner and Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander.
