Lil Wayne’s latest album, “I Am Not a Human Being,” went from #16 to #1 on charts a mere two weeks after debut. Reports find that the physical release of the album to major retailers is what provided the sales kick, an overall 443%.

“I Am Not a Human Being,” which has moved approximately 125,000 units over the last week, was previously released in digital format on September 27th. The album marks the largest leap since Radiohead’s “In Rainbows,” from #156 to #1 in 2008. This also celebrates Wayne’s second #1 album on charts following 2008’s “Tha Carter III.”

The Hip-Hop star may rejoice in his latest success behind bars, until November 4th, when he is scheduled for release from Rikers Island prison.
