Grammy Award winning rapper, Killer Mike, aka Mike Bigga, is adding the final touches to “PL3DGE,“ which he refers to as “the magnum opus” of his “I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind,” series.

The first single from the album, titled “Ready Set Go,” features the Grand Hustle label head, T.I., as well as Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Twista & Rock D The Legend. Bigga has also used live musicians with production by NO ID, The Bizness, DJ Speedy, Raz Zone, and Sweatbox, who, noted by Bigga, provided the album’s Soul aspect. Within the lyrical content of the album, Bigga connects with the working class, vocalizing about bank bailouts, and double standards.

In addition to the upcoming release of his new album, Mike Bigga was filmed by MTV, for an ‘inspirational’ role, in an unknown special, which will air during February.

“PL3DGE” will be available in-stores March 22nd through Grind Time Official/Grand Hustle/ Tree Leaf/SMC Recordings.
