Southern rap legend Bun B has made it clear that he will not allow unauthorized profit on his account.

The Houston veteran is threatening to file a lawsuit against a clothing designer who is selling unauthorized “Trillionaire Boys Club” shirts. “Unless there’s a contract with me/estate, you’re looking at a lawsuit” Bun tweeted in regards to the shirts being sold. The shirts not only utilize an image of him and his late UGK rap-partner, Pimp C, but also market the shirt with language that alludes to it being an official release from the duo.

“A rich man is not necessarily a wealthy man. And a trillionaire is not necessarily someone with money like Bill Gates. Bun B and Pimp C are two of the trillest to ever live it. Chad ‘Pimp C’ Butler always kept it 1000 and never bit his tongue for anyone. If he said it, he meant it, and although his words sometimes had a tendency to get him in the middle of controversy, nobody could ever say Pimp C wasn’t real. His partner in crime Bun B is no different. Carrying the torch of trillness for the Underground Kingz, Bun B is also known as the undisputed King Of The Trill. In fact, him and Pimp C damn near invented the concept of Trill. So without further ado, we bring you that official TBC gear. ‘Trillionaire Boys Club’”

While the shirt is already facing scrutiny from Bun B, it may also face trademark infringement from Pharrell’s clothing line “Billionaire Boys Club.” The design of the shirt appears to be a direct knock-off of the N.E.R.D. rappers’ own design.
