Fox News Subconciously Brain Washing You?? Confusing Obama and Osama Conspiracy

As the announcement of Osama Bin Laden’s death came to the public eye, there was a media frenzy. Everyone from websites and blogs to prime professional tv news media outlets reported on the matter. Professional is the keyword, as we expect the best of reporting from the top news stations such as CNN, Fox News, ABC World News, etc.

Is there a reason Fox News and other republicans keep confusing Osama with Obama? From Rush Limbaugh’s sarcastic rant on Obama’s plan to get Osama Bin Laden to Glen Beck, other Fox News reporters, and even Geraldo. We all know that Fox News is NOT very genuine when they do their reporting, and they seem to be at it again. Every time they’ve gaffed up, it has always been that “Obama is dead” or “Let’s Kill Obama”.

Are they subconsciously confusing you to want or wish that Obama would be dead or killed? As much hate speech that Fox News and SOME republicans (Ex. Palin, Beck, McCain, Limbaugh) have been giving (from rallying with gun rhetoric to results of sent life threatening letters to politicians), is there a line that we shouldn’t cross when considering Freedom Of Speech? When conspiring and organizing large masses of people to create hate or violence, should it be illegal? Is this another conspiracy by Rupert Murdoch and his Fox News goons or could this be just simple mistakes by ONLY Fox News correspondents and republicans?

Here are some prime examples of these “supposedly accidental” goof ups:
Geraldo Slips Saying Obama Is Dead

Rush Limbaugh’s Rant on Obama and his confusion of the names, a couple times! (Minute 4:40)
“Obama, Sorry Osama is dead”

Glen Beck goofing up
“Hey yea, let’s kill Obama, or I mean Bin Laden”

Another Un-Professional reporter messing up
“President Obama is in fact dead”
