KeepItTrill.com: Today I bring to you Military, an up and coming group from Tampa, FL to KeepItTrill.com. Let’s start this interview off by introducing yourself to the people that don’t already know who you are.

Military: I’m Soljah, this Ms. Williams, I’m Militia Seven, A-M-P in the building and we make up Military?

KeepItTrill.com: How did you come up with your name Military?

Military: (Soljah) Our creative goal is to operate as a cohesive unit so I decided on the name Military?

KeepItTrill.com: What does the group bring to the music world? And what separates you from the next up and coming artist coming out of Florida?

Military: (A-M-P) Unlike most up and coming artist, we’ve already experienced regional success with our club single “All The Way Live”. So we’ve performed live for audiences that came to a venue just to see us. Not too many up and coming artists can say that. Also, our group is culturally diverse and that influences the type of music we make.

KeepItTrill.com: With not being from Miami what’s your plan to gain their attention?

Military: (Militia Seven) Miami is about to become our second home. We’re planning to attend as many events and parties our schedule will allow. We’re connecting with the DJs that continue to support our movement and we’re building our social network to stay on the minds of our growing fan base in Miami.

KeepItTrill.com: Can you tell the people who did you listen to growing up? Who influenced you as an artist?

Military: (Group) People we listened to growing up included the great 2PAC, NAS, Trick Daddy, Mary J Blige, Uncle Luke, Trina, Jadakiss. The list goes on and on…

KeepItTrill.com: Explain to the fans where it all started for Military?

Military: (Ms.Williams) Our passion for the music brought us together. Growing up as friends, we all had desires to become successful entertainers and decided to form a group. Having opportunities like this, being featured on KeepItTrill.com is part of our growing success. So thank you!

KeepItTrill.com: As an artist do you utilize YouTube, Facebook and Twitter to promote your music?

KeepItTrill.com: Can you tell the world how long you’ve been rapping and how long did it take to get to the level where you are now?

Military: (Ms Williams) As a group, we have been rapping and singing since childhood. Our HOT single “All The Way Live” propelled us to this point and we’ve been strategically working for (3) years.

KeepItTrill.com: Can you clarify your current label situation for the folks at KeepItTrill.com?

Military: (Soljah) DA M-Topian, is an independent label. We’ve received inquiries from executives at E-1, Warner and Interscope. For now, we’re going to focus on growing our fan base, build our brand and increase our digital sales.

KeepItTrill.com: You have just drop your new single “Turned Out” how did that song came about. What type of feedback you expect to get from it?

Military: (Militia Seven) Our new song “Turned Out” came about collectively while vibin in the studio with super-producer ‘Dynamic Beats’. He put the track on, and we just went hamm on it. It’s definitely another club-banger.
