Lil Wayne Shoots Slugs At Jay-Z In Leaked ‘Carter IV’ Song
Written by: Trill Chris
Lil Wayne has shot slugs toward Jay-Z in his new song “It’s Good”.
Jay-Z allegedly threw the first shot at Cash Money’s Birdman in his Kanye West assisted “H.A.M.”, where Jay raps “I’m like, “Really, half a billi? Nigga, really you got baby money. Keep it real wit’ niggas, niggas ain’t got my lady money”.
Wayne previously spoke on the Jay-Z slug, saying that he wouldn’t turn the rhyme into a beef, but he would address the situation.
“Me and my wit, given my wit, I would probably play off of it, But I wouldn’t make it a competition, because actually, the subject that he’s talking about in that line, I can’t box with the card. I’d be the first one to tell you that, given my wit, and the type of person that I am, I’d capitalize and I’d play off of it. Yeah, I definitely would.”
For Lil Wayne, the time to capitalize is now, just days before the release of Tha Carter IV, with the Drake and Jadakiss assisted “It’s Good”.
“Talk about baby money, I got your baby money” Wayne raps in response to the alleged Jay-Z diss. “Kidnap your b!tch get that that how much you love your lady money. I know you fake nigga, press your brakes nigga. I’ll take you out, that’s a date nigga. I’m a grown ass blood, stop playing with me. Play asshole, and get an ass whippin’, I think you pussycat, hello kitty.” [Click here to read the full lyrics]
