Rolling Stone magazine recently revealed a comprehensive study for their so-called “King Of Hip-Hop” list.

The legendary music publication gives you a breakdown on what the album sales were for the top hip-hop artists over the last three years, who had the most Billboard Chart hits, most youtube plays, grossed the most in touring, had the largest social network following, who won the most awards and who had the most critically acclaimed albums based upon reviews. After analyzing all of this information together, they compiled their list for “King Of Hip-Hop”, where Eminem edged out Lil Wayne to top the list. Drake, Kanye West & Jay-Z rounded out the top 5 of all MC’s.

Check out the charts below and read up on the full coverage at Rolling Stone.

Most album Sales:

With albums like Recovery and Relapse, Eminem easily dominated the rap-sales category for the last three years

Hip-Hop Billboard Charts:

The Young Money Canadian Sensation, Drake, bested his boss Lil Wayne for having the highest charted hits on billboard for the hip-hop and rap categories.

Largest Social Network Following:

Not only is Eminem the top selling artist over the last three-years, he is the best selling rap-artist of all time, so it’s only right that he has the most followers on social networks like Facebook & Twitter. Eminem clearly leads the pack, with around 17million more fans than second place Lil Wayne.

Youtube Video Views:

Once again Eminem tops another list with a STAGGERING 1.3 billion video views on his YouTube channel, doubling second place Lil Wayne. His Rihanna assisted “Love The Way You Lie” received over 370million views alone and “Not Afraid” currently sits at over 265million views.

Biggest Award Winners:

Where he lacks in album sales, Jay-Z has made up in awards. The Watch The Throne rapper racked up over 60 awards from American Music Awards, Billboard, BET, The Grammy’s, MTV and others.

Critically Acclaimed Albums:

Kanye West is a musical genius and the experts agree.
