Heisman Winner Robert Griffin III To Enter 2012 NFL Draft

Heisman Trophy winner and Andre 3000 impersonator Robert Griffin III has decided to go pro. Per ESPN, the dual-threat Baylor quarterback will make the news official with an announcement within the next 24 hours.

As a fan of a Browns team that needs a new quarterback, color me thrilled. Griffin plays like he was created in an EA Sports laboratory. Already one of the most accurate passers in college football history, don’t be surprised if his 40-yard-dash time is south of 4.30, making him one of the fastest quarterbacks ever measured. And every time he takes his helmet off, “Player’s Ball” rings through my head. Here’s hoping that he’s still available at the fourth pick; it really wouldn’t surprise me if a team like Washington sold the house to trade up for him.
