Although the highly anticipated group project by Kanye West, Pharrell and Lupe Fiasco (as CRS) is on an indefinite hold, two of the trio are moving forward with a new project.

Lupe recently revealed on his website (LupeFiasco.com) that he and Pharrell have come together, and are recording a joint project.

In a short post on Monday (January 9), titled “BREAKING NEWs,” the Chicago rapper wrote: “LUPE AND PHARRELL ALBUM COMING SOON.”

Further details were not revealed beyond the announcement.

In addition to his collabo with Pharrell, Lupe also said that he’s prepping the release of Food & Liquor 2, the sequel to his 2006 debut.

“I’m not gonna make the same mistake that I did with Lasers,” he said of last year’s chart-topping set.
