Why Are Young People Supporting Ron Paul for President?

1 March 2012 269 views 5 Comments

Ron Paul is the oldest of the Presidential candidates, yet he gets enormous support from the youngest of voters. Why is it that these young voters are so interested in Ron Paul?

The answer is plain and simple. Ron Paul has a simple message that is pure, inspiring and young in essence, but it’s because of the internet and the opportunities it gives to research information from all sources, enabling a fuller understanding of the situation, which gives Dr. Paul the edge among that demographic. Our younger generations who have grown up on the internet have reached the voting age. They no longer have to resort to their news from the dinosaur corporate media, which often tries to dictate how you feel and think about certain topics.

This is why the mainstream media doesn’t talk about Mitt Romney’s abysmal record of fiscal conservatism as governor or Rick Santorum’s hypocritical positions on social issues or the fact that the 3 candidates not named Ron Paul are essentially the same person with the same nanny/authoritarian approach to government…it’s just that they have an “R” before their name when it appears on the television screen.

People within the ages of 40+ are the majority of people who are anti-Ron Paul, because they did NOT grow up with the internet and do not fully grasp or understand the power of information that the internet delivers. They get their news through FAUX, MSNBC, and often form their opinions based on reports from only one station. Whether you like to admit it or not, you probably have only one station that you watch BECAUSE they cater to your views… but how can you have full grasp on any topic until you hear all sides?

Republicans and Democrats, for the most part, are the same people with a different color tie. While they may differ on some social issues, many policies that negatively effect America the most are the SAME. Both parties rack up major debt, cause runaway inflation and enter into illegal wars. Since 9/11 they have used fear to manipulate us and to trick us into giving away some of our freedoms in the name of “saftey”. Whether you realize it or not, the Obama administration is no different than the Bush administration when it comes to destroying the freedoms that Americans were led to believe, and some still believe, they had.

As long as 90% of the media is controlled by 6 corporations that are in bed with government, we will continue to have these robot candidates with the same agenda.

So, what makes Ron Paul different? Well, just about everything. If you look at everything from his foreign policy to monetary policy, he is against EVERYTHING that the mainstream stands for. Many people try to associate this with a bad thing, but can you honestly tell me that you like where our country has been headed over the last decade? Ron Paul is so different that the media continues to try and discredit him and ignore him, but luckily we have the internet to teach us otherwise.

While we try to encourage you to support Ron Paul, our main goal behind these articles is to help educate our viewers with a new way of thinking. Teach people to look at all sides of a story or topic before forming your opinion. Don’t take everything you hear at face value, especially when it comes from the media or a politician. This is our country and it is OUR job to be responsible when we chose who to operate it.

Stop with these Ron Paul articles, only idiots support Ron Paul. Only thing good he has is his foreign policy. Other than that his domestic idea of giving every single thing to states is complete bs. But I’d expect ignorance of that nature from a site like this. So demonic, friend.

This site is so demonic, which is why you visit it? Why are all Ron Paul supporters idiots? Everything I read in this article makes sense and I can agree to a lot of it. I may not agree with everything in the articles, but everything sounds reasonable and I don’t see anything ignorant on this page except for your comment berating people and questioning their intelligence.

Rather than calling us idiotic and ignorant, why don’t you try to enlighten us with the information on why Ron Paul’s policies are bad?

At least you don’t go off on 9/11 conspiracies like Optimo Radio. Justice Allah is a straight up dumbass.

As a liberal, I’m putting aside my personal “wants” for the time being and supporting Ron Paul. While I don’t agree with many of his points, there is no candidate but him which will stand by their principles and sway us from a path that Americans do not want to take. Obama has proven to be a corporatist and war mongering profiteer at the expense of American lives and lives abroad. He has consistently lied about not supporting bills, but end up signing them as a tactic not to receive any opposition. We get more headlines about Jay’Z\'s baby than Iran; a war with Iran is NOT something we should sit idle and not oppose. Many commanders and active service personnel have come out and said there is no credible threat to America from Iran where 70% of their citizens oppose their government; this is purely a means to dominate the region and to further gain profits for corporations. Meanwhile, our liberties are slowly being eaten away to protect ourselves from ourselves.
