In 3 years Cadillac wants to bring the first fully autonomous car to the public. The General Motors owned company has named the upcoming technology the “Super Cruise.” The self driving car will make an attempt to use cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors to detect it’s surroundings, while the active GPS navigation will make sure that the car knows exactly where it is at all times while driving.

The camera and the GPS combined will be able to see the lines on the road and detect which direction the car should move in.
