Jay-Z & Kanye West To Release ‘Watch The Throne’ Sequel

Mike Dean, the producer and engineer behind Kanye West, has revealed that a sequel to Watch The Throne will be appearing.

Ever since the phenomenal success in 2011, of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s collaborative album, fans have been eager for more joint releases from the pair. Now, Mike Dean has confirmed that a project is in the offing.

Speaking to Quiet Lunch, Dean said that the pair are planning to collaborate again at some point in the not too distant future. As yet, Dean revealed, they are not currently working on new material, but he was able to reveal that it is definitely a plan of Hov and Yeezy’s.

“I’m working on the G.O.O.D. Music album of course,” he said. “[I'm working on] Watch The Throne 2, which is not started yet, but that’s coming.”

Watch The Throne was released in August 2011, and charted at No. 1 in the US Billboard 200 Charts. It was certified platinum, and made a staggering 436,000 sales in its first week of release. Kanye and Jay-Z have followed up the album drop with a much-lauded world tour.
