Lil Kim stopped by Power 105.1′s Thursday morning (May 17) to chop it up about various topics, but her issues with Nicki Minaj came up despite trying to not talk about it as of late.

After asking why Nicki is never pressed about their beef during interviews, the female rap legends decided to break it down, explaining how their issues originated even before the YMCMB superstar even signed with Weezy’s Young Money imprint.

Kim claims she had a problem with Nicki initially, but her cockiness and unwillingness to share the spotlight caused tension. She went on to call Nicki both “catty” and “obnoxious.”

As the interview continued, Lil Kim addressed a rumored beef with Azealia Banks, which surfaced after the Harlem newcomer went at her on Twitter. Kim says she’s never met or even heard of Banks before then. She claims she’ never heard of her, or met her.

She also talks about her time in prison, which she details in her new book, Price of a Loyalty; and how she was portrayed on the Notorious B.I.G. biopic, 2009′s “Notorious”; and why she’s been away from the music game for so long.
