Presidential Hopeful Ron Paul Draws Thousands To Texas State Capitol In Austin (Pictures & Video)

If you haven’t noticed by now, we have been really amped up for this upcoming presidential election. I personally feel pretty shafted after voting for Obama only to get more of the same “Bush” type policies. With executive orders being passed such as the NDAA, the continued support of the un-constitutional patriot act and illegal wars waged against Libya without congressional consent, our President has continued down the same dangerous and slippery slope that Mr. Bush led us down. Whether you choose to agree with me or not, I have spent countless hours researching these topics, along with the presidential candidates, so you will NOT be changing my mind. I have become more involved in the political process this year than I ever had before and, in the upcoming Texas primary, I will be running on the ballot for precinct chair in my area. I have already been nominated as a delegate to the state convention at my recent senatorial district convention, with the goal of making it to the national convention in August as a delegate for Ron Paul….but that’s another story. This article is about Ron Paul and how his R3VOLTUION is holding strong, drawing out thousands of supporters to support him on the south lawn of the Texas state capitol grounds in Austin.
Officially a rally promoted by the “Tea Party Express” to support Ted Cruz’s campaign for Texas senate, Ron Paul and his son, Kentucky senator Rand Paul, were the stars of the show, with the majority of the crowd showing up to hear Ron Paul speak. While Mr. Cruz vowed to support Dr. Paul’s bill to audit the federal reserve, hundreds of people burst out into chants demanding the government “END THE FED”. Other popular speaking points included ending the TSA, ending the department of education and repealing many executive powers that Obama and Bush had passed over the last decade.

if your views are the same as Obama’s why in the world would the prize be defeating Obama? The prize is to change the direction of this country. If the same views exist, with minute changes, on both parties then a totalitarian state will form. They boo in accordance with the Republican views of limited government. Open your eyes. This is more then us backing Paul, we are backing our Founding Fathers and the Constitution they created. This is a Revolution because our government is breaking the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. In layman terms: the contract the people hold with their government to uphold our God given rights and to secure peace is not being followed.
