Apple’s App Store Hits 30 Billion Downloads, Record Revenue Paid Out To Developers
According to reports, there are 650,000 apps in the digital store overall, 225,000 of which are specific to the iPad.

Cook said there were over 400 million accounts on the App Store, which makes it the largest online store with credit card info that “Apple is aware of.”
