Texas’ new music festival has announced a Hip-Hop heavy roster of artists for its festival launch.

Snoop Dogg and Yelawolf are set to perform in the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, whilst Mana headlines the event.

The festival is set to take place on June 9 at the Texas Cotton Bowl Stadium, and is hosted by Univision Radio. The aim of the festival is to promote a ‘bicultural’ sense of music through the acts performing. This year marks the festival launch.

Alongside Snoop, Mana, and Yelawolf, the performers include Damian Marley, Gym Class Heroes and Ozomatli.

“Univision Radio is proud to launch the H2O music movement with this festival in Dallas,” said Jack Hobbs, the executive vice president of sales at Univision Radio. “We are focused on providing our young audience — the Hispanic 2.0 listener — with music that reflects their bicultural, bilingual lives.”

Dallas is not the only location which will be hosting the H20 Festival. Following the Texas show, the festival will move to Los Angeles, California on August 25, using the Los Angeles State Historic Park as its venue.

Tickets for the event are available online at H2omusicfestival.com.
