8Ball has revealed that he and MJG may be hooking up with Big K.R.I.T. to record an album.

The Memphis rap veteran discussed the possibility of a collaboration during an interview with Kevin Nottingham. Whilst talking about his forthcoming album drop, Life’s Quest, due out on July 17 via eOne Music/Push Management, 8Ball touched on the subject of an album project with Big K.R.I.T.

8Ball & MJG have already released the collab tracks, Money On The Floor and We Buy Gold with K.R.I.T., but 8Ball revealed that the duo have actually recorded up to 10 tracks with him. He said that the Def Jam rapper had a lot in common with the Memphis pair, and was an “old soul,” like them.

“[K.R.I.T.'s] Money On the Floor spawned like five or six other songs,” he said. “Like the song that’s on my album, We Buy Gold, came from all of that. We went in the studio a couple a days in Atlanta at Tree Sound and banged out about five or six one day. So I think [recording a complete album is] possible. That kid has got a definite old soul, you feel me?”
