Chris Brown just took his alleged beef with Drake a stage further.

The R&B singer responded to speculation that he would take part in a boxing match against Drake for $1 million, claiming that he would be down for the contest.

Brown said he would be willing to take part when paparazzi approached him with the question.

Rumourfix reports that Brown responded favourably to a question directed at him on Wednesday (July 4), when reporters asked him if he would be willing to take up boxing promoter, Damon Feldman’s offer of a match against Drake, and meet the Canadian rapper in the ring.

“Yeah, I would. I would,” Brown responded, without a moment’s consideration.

Feldman and entrepreneur, Alki David, have said that they will award the fight winner $9 million and the loser, a modest $1 million. Reports of the unconventional contest began circulating online last week. Neither artist had commented on the outlandish offer, until Brown gave an affirmative response yesterday.

The beef between Drake and Brown arose following a fight the pair had in a Manhattan nightclub last month, in which a bottle was thrown.
