Lupe Fiasco Says President Obama Kills Children, Says Rap Is ‘Terrible’
Rapper Lupe Fiasco has been sharing some rather controversial views recently. Notably, he called “97%” of Hip-Hop music “terrible.”
The Chicago rapper is no stranger to controversy. In a recent interview with Power 99 FM’s Mina Saywhat, Lupe made some rather harsh statements about President Barack Obama. “On one hand, you have someone who is a great speaker, but kills little children, our President.”
“I’m not talking about an accident,” the rapper continued. “I’m talking about ordering a drone attack. Ordering drone attacks that go and kill mothers, innocent bystanders, children. Militants too, but the collateral damage, you’re responsible for that too.”
Mina Saywhat responded to Lupe defending the President. “Any killings as a result of Obama’s orders are not intentional.”
“A drug dealer can say the same thing,” Lupe countered. ‘I didn’t mean to kill all the people in the restaurant; I was just trying to get to that one dude who killed my cousin. Just so happened that little girl was there.’ Same thing.”
In 2011, he called President Obama “the biggest terrorist.” He was invited to appear on Fox New’s The O’Reilly Factor to defend his comments. O’Reilly called the rapper a “pinhead.”
Lupe Fiasco has been running the media circuit in preparation of the release of his upcoming album, Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album Part 1, which drops September 25.
