Zombie Theme Park Coming Soon To Delapidated Detroit Neighborhoods?

6 July 2012 1,974 views 3 Comments

The zombie craze is definitely here to stay, and Eminem’s hometown is making sure of it.

In Detroit, an entrepreneur named Mark Siwak wants to build an entire zombie apocalypse theme park set in derelict areas of the Motor City. The park, “Z World, ” would be a huge 200 acre zombie theme par, with patrons being forced into “survival mode.” Siwak wants his guests to really fend off zombies.

The ambitious investor plans to raise $140,000 to create “Z World.”

“There are formal proposals to essentially abandon some of Detroit’s neighborhoods. That’s not a solution,” says Siwak. “Collectively we must be more creative than that. Let’s start something fun and unique that will revitalize an area while creating some jobs for Detroiters.”

Siwak wants Z-World to be housed in one of Detroit’s many dilapidated neighborhood.

Is this going too far?

I think the idea is awesome! You guys should look into a site near hotels…or build your own Zombie Inn! Can you imagine room service served by a zombie? Drinks from a zombie bartender?
