2 Chainz delivered some revelations during a recent interview.

The emcee has played a major role in this year’s rap scene, and, in a recent interview with BET’s 106 & Park, he offered some candid words on a number of subjects.

2 Chainz has appeared on a number of collaborative drops, and has boosted his career with his guest features. However, the rapper is now celebrating the release of his brand spanking new LP, and his appearance on 106 & Park marked the occasion.

2 Chainz spoke out on the rumours which have been circulating about his involvement with the Illuminati. As with a number of successful MCs, 2 Chainz came in for his fair share of speculative criticism about being in cahoots with the mythic secret society. However, he was swift to deny the comments. He explained that the rumours had spread from an edited interview he had delivered, in which he joked about involvement with the Illuminati.

“I know I work hard and I believe in God,” he explained. “So, when my mom called, I said, ‘You know better than that, mom!’”

2 Chainz was also keen to reveal his plans for the rest of the year. “One of the goals is putting out an album, which comes out tomorrow,” he said. “The next goal is for the album to be successful.”

Legendary MC, Scarface, made a surprise appearance on the show during 2 Chainz’s interview, and had some words of encouragement for the MC. “I used to listen to Chainz when he was with DPT…I’m proud of this kid,” ‘Face explained. “We talk all the time. We have heart-to-hearts.”
