Beyonce Knowles has released some intimate family photos online.

The photos feature herself, husband, Jay-Z, and daughter, Blue Ivy, as well as her sister, Solange, and a few family friends.

Beyonce gave fans a rare peek into her private life when she released the photos onto her Tumblr page.

Renowned for her privacy where family matters are concerned, the R&B diva took to Tumblr to share some photos taken during a visit to her hometown of Houston, Texas.

Beyonce returned to Houston Texas, and a number of the photos show her, her sister, and a number of friends, posing in front of an aeroplane, as well as getting food from a food van and taking pics with horses. In one, Beyonce is shown hoola hooping.

The really intimate photos are the ones featuring her nuclear family, however. One photo shows rap mogul, Jay-Z, pushing his wife on a swing, whilst in another, Beyonce is shown feeding daughter, Blue Ivy, from a bottle, whilst Blue wears a Jay-Z Watch The Throne T-shirt.

Roc Nations’s latest rising star, Rita Ora, makes an appearance in one of the photos too, as does Bey’s own mother, Tina Knowles.
