Kreayshawn previously announced an August release date for her anticipated debut, Somethin’ Bout Kreay, but has decided to push it back a lil to mid-September.

With the new date just over a month away, the Oakland rapper unveils the album’s official coverart, which is comprised of imaginative photographs of Kreayshawn with colorful illustrations, which land her in an alternate spacey, fantasy world.

“I wanted an album cover that would really help to represent me and who I am,” she explained of its idea. “Something that, when people first see it, they’ll say, ‘Only Kreayshawn could think of a cover like that.’”

Additionally, Kreayshawn recently dropped a matching music video for “Go Hard,” the official first single from Somethin ‘Bout Kreay. Since it’s release, it’s received over a million views. “Gucci Gucci,” the song/video that started it all, has garnered over 36 million views to date.

Somethin ‘Bout Kreay is now slated to drop September 18th.

Kreayshawn will make her network television debut with a performance on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on September 17, a day before her album drops.
