US Lawmakers Want to Jail People Uploading Youtube Videos Lip-Syncing Other Peoples Copyrighted Songs. If US Senate bill 978 passes, anyone who uploads video of themselves lip-syncing their favorite songs onto YouTube would be illegal and could be charged and sentenced to five years in prison.
